Twelve Years, One Partner, Every Layer of the Stack
NRG has run the whole stack for Neat Meat since 2014 — building it, marketing it, and measuring it as one system. Because the same team owns the store, the app, the campaigns and the tracking layer, a problem in any one of them gets diagnosed where it actually lives. When ad performance dipped, the answer was not more budget: it was a broken measurement layer, rebuilt server-side so conversion data reaches the ad platform from the store's own server instead of a browser that blocks it.
The challenge
Most agencies own one slice of a client's business — the website, or the ads, or the app — and the client spends their own time stitching the slices together. Neat Meat needed the opposite. A premium B2C food brand selling fresh product online has to get everything right at once: a store that converts, a mobile app customers actually reopen, marketing that brings the right buyer, and ad spend that is measured against real revenue rather than platform-reported guesses. Split that across four vendors and nobody owns the outcome.
Our approach
B2C eCommerce store on WooCommerce — catalogue, checkout and fulfilment flow Customer-facing mobile application Server-side Google Tag Manager (sGTM) and Meta Conversions API (CAPI) with event deduplication Full purchase event mapping with product and value parameters for accurate attribution Ongoing digital marketing: content, creative production and social Paid media management and performance optimisation
The outcome
A single accountable partner across development, marketing and media — no vendor hand-offs, no split ownership Recovered conversion events that were previously lost in transit, so optimisation runs on near-complete data Reported performance reconciled with actual store revenue — budget decisions made on real numbers A relationship running since 2014 and still active — the clearest proof of the work 45% increase in tracked conversions / 120% improvement in reported ROAS
